Could a returnee win a rigged season?

If a player could choose a cast could they win? Let's use Russell Hantz as an example but feel free to use other castaways.

1. Could Russell Hantz choose a 20 person cast of returnees against which he would win?
2. Even if the theme was Russell vs His Choices?
