Ghost Kitten

My bf and I raise foster kittens. We have two that came from my friends house when she discovered them in her brush pile as she had lit it(she didn'tknow they were there until she heard them crying). She got two of them out safely but unfortunately the third didn't make it.

After having the kittens for a few weeks, I've begun to notice odd things around the home. I'll hear the tapping of paws even when everyone is asleep on the bed, I've felt the warm presence of a kitten on my back and I've reached to pet it only to realize that nobody was there. Just a few minutes ago, I felt them jump into my lap and I looked to see who I it was, and I couldn't see them. I told my bf and he said "we don't have a phantom kitten, you're just really tired." And immediately afterwards a picture frame tipped over.

Now, we do have a little guardian in our house that keeps out evil spirits and he welcomed in the kitten, so I feel perfectly safe. I'm just a little sad because we have to split up the siblings and I don't know who he's gonna follow or if he wants to stay with us.
