Returning Player here!

Hello, as the title says I'm a returning player who's got afew questions! I've seen videos on Hiram Gear but am somewhat confused on where to farm for it. I've claimed the packs returning players get so I've already got some. I've seen on videos to farm certain mobs in Auroria but after farming for an hour they didn't seem to drop anything. Does the zone have to be at war for them to drop? Also what should I do with my old gear, I had Celestial Soulforged gear
