Why God doesn't answer every prayer.

God has a plan for Eternity. Jesus already won the war against evil, and things are just casually playing out. Sure we have our battles, but no matter if we lose em all, Jesus still won the war. As things play out, we get tempted in various way because we're all different. It is our faith in Jesus when we do the right thing by being honest, honorable and faithful that glorifies Jesus. That is how we win battles.

Now knowing Earth is a battlefield between good and evil, and stuff is playing out, God gives us a lot of leeway in the travel of that path. We can pray for anything, but selfless prayers are best. When we pray for something, it may be interrupting battles that should be fought in a different way. So God vetos some prayers or delays their activation. The easiest example is if someone had a very bad day and wishes the universe to implode.

There are all kinds of things like that. We do not know the mind of God or what cannot be changed. So when we pray, pray in many possible ways for the same thing. If someone gets sick, pray that they get cured by God. Pray if God doesn't give a full cure that the doctors help. Pray that God guides the doctors, nurses, surgeons, anathesiologists(sp). Pray for more research to be done on those sicknesses. Pray all around it, in many ways. There may be a reason why one prayer isn't answered and a similar one is.

God often does just answer prayer in a different way that does help, but it is very good to pray about one thing in many ways. Prayer is a super power. You can literally do anything if God signs off on it. Unlike a fateful story of a guy who got a genie who answered every wish he spoke, but then after an argument with his girlfriend he wished he would never speak again, God won't let us ruin reality or our relationships with him. When we realize unanswered prayer safeguards us from screwing up all of reality, it liberates us to pray for anything and everything. Worst case scenario, God just doesn't answer it. *1 So one can be stoked that God's will intercedes and protects us to be liberate to pray for anything we want changed in the world. This leads us to understand why one of our biggest prayers is,"God's will be done."

Thank you God. God's will be done. Now go say some prayers. They really do bend the fabric of reality.
