First IUI failed

So we are beyond disappointed to say the least. We’re approaching two years of trying this August. After spending thousands of dollars out of pocket for multiple tests, ultra sounds, sperm analysis’, and a $800 IUI we still have nothing to show for it. To add on top of it I’ve been interviewing for new jobs and now gotten 0 offers out of 3 final-round interviews. We’re stressed about finding a new job, affording additional rounds of IUI, and trying to conceive.

This is extremely taxing on our relationship and mental and emotional wellbeing. Thankfully, we took a weekend off and stayed st a hotel to have a “mourning” weekend. We were relaxed, went swimming and ate great food. But back to reality today and the stress has become unbearable. I guess we can only take it one day at a time and keep moving forward. We will be scheduling another IUI for this cycle as my wife is on day 6 of her current period. I don’t know how much more we can take. Best of luck to everyone else out there facing the same stress.
