Firefox Content Blocking VS Duck Duck Go privacy essentials?

Has anyone done a comparison as to which one provides more protection? It would seem having both of these features enabled would be pointless. I do like to have as few extensions as possible but from what I can see so far DDG privacy essentials seems to have slightly more benefits than FF's built in content blocking. any thoughts?
