Thinking of stopping my pill.. if anyone has experience would love to hear pros and cons.

Hi all!

I've been on the contraceptive pill (desogestrel) for around 8 or 9 years. I'm thinking of stopping the pill, I've completely lost my sex drive over the past few years and my moods are terrible.

I'm a little scared as I've not had a period since I've started the pill, my periods used to be agony and made me quite poorly.

If anyone has stopped their pill, please could you share some pros and cons? I know everyones experience is different and I do plan on discussing with a doctor, but would like to hear others experiences too.
