[PS4] [Question] Should I be trading up my uncommons?

Hi, I've got about twenty or so uncommons now and I'm not sure if I'd be better off trading them in or trying to trade with people. I'd prefer to swap them with people who need them for something cool in return that I don't have but every time I've traded with someone in game they tell me to "Show all" then put in one thing, usually a limited topper or decal, and proceed to keep telling me to accept regardless of what I type in response (I'm on PS4 so it takes me a while to type, too). I've tried four times now and they've all gone pretty much the same way. Is there a better way to swap with people or would I be better off just trading them in?
