So ummmm are all scorched also glowing?

So last night a friend launched a nuke in an atypical spot for flux farming. South savage divide, that radio tower and cabin. I went down there to get my free atoms as I know I’ve seen glowing mole rats there. Walk up to the radio tower and the usual scorched are there. Drop the first one and the atom challenge dings... yet the scorched, like all others, wasn’t glowing.

I put on glowsight and drop the rest like bad habits, however I already come close to oneshotting scorched anyway, so I didn’t think of this as an appropriate scientific test.

Now before I log in tonight and make a 10mm pistol for testing with and without glowsight, and without a ton of damage boosting perks, I have to ask: is it common knowledge that glowsight impacts scorched, and it’s just something I missed in the last ~800 or so hours?
