Beat Saber... Why?

So I gave in a bought Best Saber on the Quest last week... I still don’t get why everyone raves about it! Maybe if they do the custom songs and I can actually download good music that I like and not the generic dance crap that is the only music choice in the game.

I tried playing Expert+ and fail almost immediately so I then reduce the speed down to 50% only to find half the time I will clearly hit the box in the middle yet it won’t register it as a hit and says I missed, which it kept doing on other difficulties but I thought I was just missing them.
