Started dating a girl after messaging through FB

Perhaps a tip for scoring dates. I received advice from a friend a couple months ago to view some of the girls on the Facebook's "people you may know" slider and message them since they most likely know people on your friends list. He has done this about 3-4 times and got dates. I finally tried it about 2 weeks ago and started dating a really nice girl (I kinda messed up so we are working on a couple things but this is because of me not FB lol). The dating apps have barely worked for me, this worked way better IMO.
