Shoes for Women for Rucking?

I did a GoRuck Light last month (rucked approximately 10 miles) and just wore a basic pair of tennis shoes. My feet were throbbing by the end. That was the worst part for me. I'm doing a 12 mile Star Course this month and would like to get new shoes. What shoes do you recommend for women (I guess men's shoes too) for rucking? My tennis shoes just aren't comfy and strain by big toe joint with every step so I want something a bit more solid.
