Rival Apexes after the latest trailer:

So a while back I posted asking who everyone thought would challenge each Apex monster, and thanks to this new Story trailer we actually can start filling it in.

Ancient Forest: Nargacuga.

Wildspire Waste: Glavenus - Very excited to see if it'll turf war with Diablos, or just stay slightly lower yet equal by dominating Rathian.

Coral Highlands - Very interesting how they've not shown this yet. Seeing as that flagship image is now like 50% in Iceborne, could it actually be Zinogre?

Rotten Vale - Surprisingly enough, Tigrex. I guess in Iceborne they'll actually start embracing the fact that it's more of a glutton than very angry?

Elder's Recess - Maybe Velkhana? We do see that there's a cutscene there, and the Steelbook art shows it fighting Nergigante in the large crystalline area. My guess is that if that's just a teaser before Velkhana flies off, then Alatreon? I can't think of any flagships who could be placed there and stand up to Nergigante, short of Valstrax divebombing the shit out of him.

So what do you all think?
