I wish there was a Career mode. Is something like this even planned? or is going to be all quick store buy?

Like, starting with nothing, not even your own ship. And perhaps, your first jobs are not even going to be intergalactical, interplanetary. Your rank will be so low that you have to start like a delivery boy with small ships (Argo like) or even small land vehicles. And do cargo/uber jobs between cities, bases, compounds around the planet, etc. And then when you have the money you can buy your first ship, but not a shiny pristine one and warp capable, but perhaps a very bad shaped one that can't even left the planet yet, low performance, etc and you have to repair it, upgrade it, and stuff like that. Renting an small hangar, until you can buy your own place, etc, etc, etc a good sense of progression and satisfaction and accomplishment.
