Smoking in public is gross, unhealthy for others and causes litter. It should be banned in public

Smoking is one of the most damaging things you can do to your body (that is socially acceptable). Your inhaling toxins and chemicals and their is no medical doubt about whether its bad for you, everybody knows its basically guaranteed cancer. I live in a pretty big city and the amount of people walking around with a cigarettes is nasty, it makes everything around the person stink, including you if you catch a cloud of it in the face. Whenever you walk behind someone who is smoking you get hit with the smoke constantly. Second hand smoke can be really damaging and the idea that i could get a disease because fuckin Jeremy couldn't just smoke at home is unfair. In the city i live cigarettes are without a doubt the biggest cause of litter, in the city center the floor is covered with them and it seems socially acceptable to just throw a cigarette on the floor. Basically cigarettes are gross and if your going to smoke there should be a designated smoking area or smoke at home.
