What operator shoul- GET VALKYRIE!
Whether you're a anchor or a roamer, prefer attack to defense, whether you like being top fragger or a hard breacher, aggressive or passive, DMR's or LMG's, whatever your playstyle is, everyone who's learning should definitely pick up Valk at one point or another!
In a game where information is arguably the most important thing in the game, Valk offers exactly that; 3 extra pieces of information. Her cameras are small and nearly undetectable unless you're constantly pinging on them (please don't) or the enemy knows the common spots. Not only are you proving information of the enemy's whereabouts in areas you normally couldn't , but you also learn about the map itself, which bring me to my next point.
I know the bomb site, I know where they usually like to hide in site, where I would hide, the common peaks and rotations, but ask me about to rooms away from site, under, above, rooms that aren't even near site, and I only know the bare essentials, but the cameras teach you much much more. You start noticing windows you can jump in from more safely when it's your turn to attack, hatches nobody seems to use, peeks others don't lookout for, it'll slowly but surely grant you game knowledge and that is something that works for you on attack and defense.
Her gun is subpar compared to other ops, so if you want to win some gunfights you're gonna want to start aiming more at their heads, which is something you should already be doing but it does feel more important when you aren't running a melting machine (R4-C or F2), you're useful even if you die, you can prevent your roamers from getting flanked or better yet, provide for them an easy kill. You can hang back and callout, or get aggressive and run out from windows and doors. In a room with a valk cam, your fights can be 2v1 even if you have no teammates with you, and even in a room with no defenders, the pressure the cams put on the attacker helps delay them. They know you're looking at them, they won't push as easily, and time is also a resource defenders should use more often.
In conclusion, if you are serious about getting better, pick up Valkyrie now and see your progress grow!
