Badge holder problems

Hey all, this seems like a good place to ask. I've had persistent problems with the snap popping open multiple times a day on the plastic fob of all my ID badge holders, both state-provided and a carabiner-style one I bought myself. It finally ended up with losing my badge yesterday.

Has anyone found a good solution to this, so I can prevent my new badge from doing the same thing? I'm thinking of asking my spouse to just sew it to my current badge holder, since the snap is my only problem with it.
