3K Information and Strategy for those Struggling in the Campaign
I subbed to this form expecting to find good info that isn't yet in a wiki, steam guide, or on the steam discussion forums; but I've been disappointed to find this subreddit is mostly full of memes.
I've put in about 15 to 20 hours into 3K but I'm still running into issues trying to find information in the UI. More and more, I am becoming aware of how difficult it is to make informed decisions from turn to turn, let alone see why certain outcomes occurred.

Is there an inherent bonus for using a unit of the same color as the character in their retinue? I already know that the skill trees of these characters often provide benefits for that unit type.
-
What situations result in a treaty being nullified without notification?
-
What is the difference between satisfaction score and character relationships?
-
How do you increase character relationship synergies or decrease them? Why doesn't the game tell you when an action affects this?
-
What is a good strategy for delaying an enemy front if you can't march on a settlement and destroy it completely (uninhabited)?
-
Are tribute treaties broken upon vassalization? Do they make a faction more likely to attack you if you leave that front undefended? If so, what is the point of demanding tribute given how likely it is for the treaty to be broken?
-
Does autoresolve always give the best results or am I fighting battles wrong? Since nearly every fight is upon a walled settlement with arrow-towers and chokepoints, I always take more losses in the actual battle than I would in the autoresolve.
EDIT:
- What are the mechanical effects of harmony and disharmony?
