Sure lady, I'll pay for your gas.

Storytime, not 100% sure this goes here but my friend told me to post it. Sorry, no pics as this was all in person.

I was selling a Samsung S9 (factory unlocked directly from the Samsung site important fact) on craigslist for $500. After getting about 40 low ball offers ($100-200) I finally agree to the best low ball offer of $300ish.

The lady that I agreed to sell the phone to is in a town about 1 hour away from where I'm at. I agree to meet her part way in a smaller town that has a Verizon store so she can make sure it works for her. I tell her its factory unlocked and should work no big deal lets meet and you can test it out.

We agree to meet at noon. I make my way to the store and it's around 12:20ish. I call her and ask when she will show up. She lets me know that she is stuck in really bad traffic and will be at least 45 minutes late. I'm a little miffed but hey whatever, it is not her fault there was traffic and I can grab lunch nearby and wait for her.

One hour later I'm back at the Verizon store we agreed to meet at and she is still not there. I text her and she says she is pulling up. About 10 minutes later she calls me saying she is lost in the parking lot of the outdoor mall. I told her what building its next to and she finally finds it about 5 minutes later.

We go into the store and she talks to a sales rep and tells them she wants to buy my phone and wants to make sure it will work for Verizon. Well yeah, the sales guy gets all horney for a sale and tells her no way only Verizon phones will work for Verizon.

After a bit of back and fort with him, I ask her to put her sim into the phone. Surprise it works! The sale rep jumps in and says yeah it works now but will probably get shut off once we detect its not a Verizon phone. That is the last straw for her She says I wasted her time driving out here.. after she made me wait over an hour and half past our agreed meeting time.. Ok, lady. I ask her for my phone back and start to leave the store, as I'm leaving she says I wasted her time and I owe her $10 gas money to go back home. I turn around and tell her to eat shit and leave.

TLDR. Told lady to eat shit after she asks for gas money for wasting her time when she actually wasted an hour and a half of my time.
