Click or Pop felt through the steering wheel and pedals 2012 Mercedes Sprinter

Symptom:

When driving at low speed and making sharper turns (ie 4 point turn to make it out of a cul de sac) there is a click/pop felt both in the steering feel as well as the brake/gas pedals. This is intermittent and does not occur every time the wheel is turned.

Completed maintenance:

I have had the front end inspected which resulted in the replacement of the front shock and ball joints yet it persists. The driving experience is not impacted and otherwise, feel no further issues. I trust the mechanic that completed this work as he has been working vehicles for myself and extended family for personal and business use for a while but after two trips to the shop, I am looking for a second opinion.
