unpopular opinion??

I personally really like NED possibly even more than GH. There are a lot of great songs on GH, don’t get me wrong. But style wise, NED just feels more mature and creative than GH. NED feels like the type of album you could recommend anyone and they would find something to like in it. As where GH feels like something you could recommend an edgy teenager with songs like “Yer Killin Me” or “Eat Shit”. Both are great songs don’t get me wrong, however compared to songs on NED like “Around the Sun” and “Ezra and Marla” they feel less inspired in style, structure, and lyrics. Idk maybe i’m just more optimistic and don’t care if something follows it predecessor. I’m glad for the change and can really see Remo Drive growing as a band since GH. I also respect that the brothers are not sellouts and are not just repeating GH just to make people happy and buy their albums/come to shows. They are people too, and all people grow and develop, as seen in NED. What are your thoughts?
