New bug or have I just not played the game enough?

Been waiting 5 minutes for the game to start back up, but I think it's a lost cause. Pretty sure the other guy quit, but it looks like it fucked the game up for me, so lose-lose situation... Has this happened to anyone else? Do I just have to quit?
