That's neat. Love that color.

yeah its got a real subtle green hue to it. i did it for a stronger contrast between the metal and wood, and as an extra layer of protection. Application was terrible though, maybe its just me but, i had a few cans warmed up in the sun and replacement nozzles and acetone on standby, it just clogged and ran, i had to do a little sanding with 1500 grit sandpaper after it had cured.

Very cool. I am thinking about doing something similar with a persuader (either the 20" or 18.5" models). I really like the addition of wood furniture, for the whole "trench gun" look.

I really wanted to switch to a cob fore end for my 500 so I could use a 6 shot side saddle, but couldn't be bothered to do all the work. Very pleased with the 4 shell saddle like you did.

590A1 Coated with Aluma-Hyde 2 (Dark Parkerizing gray)
500 Persuader
Ran some Federal LE 9 pellet 00 buck, and 1oz Hydra shok slugs through both today and well as a box of Aquila mini slugs. Ran fine through both with an opsol adapter.
E: i had my hand on her shoulder to brace her but she wanted to get used to shooting them by herself. she thought the mini slugs were much tamer then the Federal slugs.
E2: the bantam youth stock set was purchased directly from mossberg.
