Help me to get in the game
I am trying to play this game since beta. From then to now whenever I saw a new trailer, video or artwork I got hyped, I update the game, start the game, play a match, lose the match, close the window, log out, few month later.. new trailer release, i got hyped again and so on.
and the loops continue...
Its happening from every-time. I really love the game aesthetic, UI and artwork, But don't like it how it plays. This is most probably I have only playing with beginner deck and have no idea how is the meta game. As I never won a single 1v1 game I cant get enough gold to buy packs as well as I see no free packs.
Release me from this hellish loop and guide me to the game
PS: currently, I am a regular MtgA player. played HS a year ago regularly. So not a new player to the genre.

Heyho,
first of all: Are you playing ranked? Matchmaking in casual games doesn't take player skill into account, so pro rank players can get matched with beginners.
It may be unintuitive, but play ranked and you should have higher chances of winning.
Unfortunately it is not realistic to just tell you all about Gwent in one post, so if you have any specific questions feel free to ask. The Gwent community is usually pretty nice and eager to help. :)
The 2 most common beginner mistakes I've seen are not paying attention to row restrictions and not knowing when to give up a round.
About ore, the "gold" of Gwent - you don't have to win a game. Every won "round" gives you a point for your daily crown. After winning 6 and 18 rounds total in a day you get 2 reward points respectively, which you can spend in the reward book for ore, scraps and other stuff. You progress even if you don't win a single game. If possible win at least 6 rounds a day.
For now you should check out some of these websites, maybe they help you with the first steps. Keep in mind, that we will get a new card expansion next Friday, so take the deck tier lists and meta snapshots with a grain of salt.

Always try casual. I dare not touch ranked match as I will get blown away with beginner deck. Not a fan of losing, It kill the mood to continue playing. 1.I need a decent avarage working deck recipe, so that I can craft card accordingly. For example, I was totally new to MtG 6 month ago but after I craft the RDW deck, 15 wins every day since then.
2.Does the game offer weekly kegs for X amount of win?
3.any redeemable global code?
Really, as others have said, don't be afraid to play ranked! You will be matched against other new players with starter decks instead of veteran players with full collections (like you will get in casual) AND there is no need to fear a loss--you can never go down a rank by losing! You will lose less often, losses won't hurt you, and you'll get extra rewards for winning! Win-win-win, even if you lose!
I see, I will try rank next time. I usually start card game with quick play then slowly build up collection to try rank. Its seems it's the opposite way to go in gwent.
Always play ranked in Gwent, as @Yejakas mentioned, casual doesn't have a matchmaking so u roughly have a same chance to run into a begginer like you or a ProPlayer trying out their gimicky deck. Ranked matches you with players that are equal in skill to you, on rank 30 there is hardly any players that have some experience in the game since after each season we only get dropped by a couple of ranks, f.e. I got dropped from rank 7 to rank 12.
I was hoping for some free goodies code, is it possible to play this game as f2p and complete 70% of the card collection?
Also one more question arise when I was trying the game last night. In HS I need 2 of each card, 1 if legendary. In MtG I need 4 of each card. How much of the card do I need for each one in gwent?
you can use up to 2 copies of each bronze card and 1 of each gold card
it's actually the opposite in this game, if you play ranked you'll get matched with other new players, if you play casual you can get macthed with anyone from a new player to a high rank person running a top tier constructed deck
This make sense.
