I have had heaps in the past and had one on my team today, I was watching him wonder around the map like a pure LVL 2 until he died. I wonder how such crap players win a game and get enough kills+damage to become the champion and to further that, still be such a low level after the xp combination.
How does this even occur lol?

Its a minor bug that no one points out. If you make a new account, on your first ever game you pop up as the champion, and youre level 2 for no reason. Ive had it myself and seen it in a youtube video.
I am very average. I'm not good, I'm not quite bad. I had a 13-kill win, which is my highest ever by double, and the next game got one kill and then got dumpstered. It could be the skill level of the lobbies you get into, or also rotation and flanking abilities factor into it, plus the loot you find and which squads die off spawn and which survive, plus I'm sure many other factors. It's a guessing game, honestly.

Luck my man. I’ve seen 3000+kill champions. And I’ve seen 0 kill champions. Yes they could just be on a new character. Or you’re just in a really bad lobby that game.
They got carried last game. And it was a random who carried them. So now they are on your team hoping you’ll do the same.
But wouldn't they get enough xp to level up a decent amount?
Secondly, how could they become champion just based of that. I have had multiple 3-5 kill games with decent damage numbers (which is VERY average) and still don't become champion
1 most exp for survival time (which is stupid) 2 algorythm (not sure if spelled right) is fucked up. I had 10 kills my premades had few each with less dmg and not only i wasnt champion i wasnt even showed in champions squad (which was us) lol
