I think ‘it’s so bad’ is a reference to the Nintendo Power Glove from The Wizard, not a judgment on the games y’all.

What am I supposed to do with this pitchfork and torch?

Hey guys -

Thanks for all your support. This week we added one of the most important RPGs ever to the Endless List in the Dragon Warrior. We've got more NES content coming up next week with Castlevania.

Hope you enjoy and feedback is always welcome! We want to know where you think these games should go on our list.

before I get upset, is this some list that lists bad games? If so I'm upset :)

please leave Dragon Quest out of whatever bad game list you're making, bud, thank you

Power Glove reference. Also we're a terrible podcast and we own it (hence why we're already confusing you with the title of the podcast). The list covers ALL games from really good to really terrible. We hope this podcast goes on for a long time we can have a REALLY big list of games.

I'll check it out tonight while I draw but if it's one of those screamy/wacky podcasts it probably won't be for me, I prefer more laid back stuff like the retro hour and such. Keep doing what you do tho and enjoy doing it, it's bound to have its audience

(puts away pitchfork)

As you were.

Is Dragon Warrior available on any downloadable service, officially? I've been wanting to give it a go now that I have adult patience levels, and the hard copy I got for free from Nintendo Power back in the day is dead as a doornail.

not that I know of.

I have both Dragon Warrior on my NES Classic and the Super Famicom Upgraded graphics version of Dragon Quest/Dragon Quest 2 on my SNES Classic. Probably the easiest way to play today on official hardware.

Do you have pictures of the board? Could be something as simple as dirty pins or bad caps

In the West? No. Your only options are emulation or buying the cartridge.

There is a mobile port that features an updated translation for Android and iOS, however. The original NES version likely won't ever be put on any downloadable service.

Just subbed, looking forward to listening

So is your show a rip off of hardcore gaming 101 podcast? Cuz they've been doing this same thing for years. If so I'll sub.

Honestly I have no idea what Hardcore Gaming 101 is. As for retro games, I’d say I was inspired by Retronauts, AVGN, Pat and the CUPodcast and Waypoint. But cool!
