Does anyone often find themselves enjoying a webtoon but not it's community?
I've been reading tower of god and I really enjoy reading it, but the community seems to be really hard to enjoy. Like I just ended season 1 of the story and everyone hates this one specific person, but I'd say they go a bit mental when hating her. Like saying how they want to murder her, etc.
I know this character acts like a dick but calling for her death gruesomely without even knowing fully about her and the protagonist is really harsh, and any criticism of that gets downvoted.

Sounds like I Love Yoo. It's so popular, but god I hate the comments sometimes. Either it's something stupid like "theory: that's her sister", when it's already been revealed that that's her sister, or everyone is bagging on the Male lead they dont ship main character with. Its attracted so many snot-nosed preteens who dont appreciate the STORY the author is trying to tell! Like omg, can we talk about that character growth? The foreshadowing? The art? Quimchee is an amazing storyteller, I wish people would see that instead of just the love triangle
What's worse, quimchee has been on hiatus for a while and everyone has been so mean to her in the comments 😥 ILY community just makes me kinda sad tbh
I try to stick up for the poor author when people complain; it's a health issue and we're not entitled to the details. But people will act entitled anyway...
