Yeah I agree Corrin does have some good kill setups. Roy is just fish for Fsmash or try to hit sweetspot dancing blade.

Admittedly I haven't used Roy in ages, he has his base kit + Luna + Threaten Attack(That I gave him ages ago), and he's +Hp/-Spd. Still, this is just depressing.
He got the clean one shot when Elise rallied him at least....
Edit: Atk/Def 2 seal too...

I'm confused what the problem is. He's an enemy phase mixed tank unit. It also seems like you haven't invested anything into him. Plus You have said he's -speed. This doesn't seem surpising

The problem is he literally has Triangle Adept 3 and he failed to one shot a green mage known for having terrible defense. When he had bonus stats to boot.
(He just needed a rally so it's not a big deal but missing easy kills like that is what I expect from Fir, not Roy.)
The plus side is that he's still able to kill those insufferable Fallen Corrins with their 9999 stats.

Ok but it's tempest trials. The opponent gets inflated stats too. Soren's regular HP is 36 at 5 star. Here he has 55 which is quite high. Even if soren kept his usual def stat of 17 that's still a tall order to one shot for most units. With triangle adept it's definitely easier but if your Roy is built how you said he's built then he should be reaching something like 52 atk which isnt anything to write home about but it's not what I would consider low either.
