Reddit, what are some current or previous work habits/quirks do you catch yourself doing outside of work?

Bring really polite in restaurants or stores + using cleaning tricks

Have two jobs : waitress at night, cleaning houses in the morning

Folding clothes like they’re going on display. Also sometimes I catch myself spacing hangers out when I’m in a clothes shop.

Noticing the manufacturer part number on products.

Getting on the freeway to go somewhere cool and then having force of habit take the wheel. I'll get halfway there before I realize it sometimes.
