Rockstar why the HELL don't you have a TDM playlist?
Just Team Deathmatch. No stupid horse games, no stupid capture the flag, no giant free for alls.
Just classic, regular, team deathmatch.
Why?

They don't want players to level up too quickly. They'll release it eventually along with survival

Just make the XP per kill in TDM half or something. There are ways to implement this

I would love this to be honest.
A "Team Showdown" series playlist would be great at the very least.
But take it from GTA Online. Most of their game modes are dead because there are so many of them. Bunching every game mode into a small medium or large playlist will prevent any of the game modes dying.

For some people, like me, bunching them all together is what keeps me from playing. Especially if I want to play with friends. I don’t want to switch between team games and free-for-all; I play with friends so we can be on a team and work together. I also hate the Make It Count mode where you only have one life. Until I can choose to play only the modes I like, I just don’t play Showdowns at all.

I just want to be able to select the pvp matches available & to be able to start a fire wherever I’m at like in story mode. Those two small things would hold me over for a few weeks until the summer update.

I’m with you on this one. Back when we actually had it I could barely make a notable dent in our score on TDM but now I’m half decent I’d love to just go ham in a game mode where my kills count for what they are rather than based on whether or not someone else is half decent and somehow worth more points.

Yes! I absolutely HATE the system for all things PvP.....why force folks to play things they may not want or like? Seems backwards to me.
I don't care what it is- they need to allow us to choose individual matches.

I couldn’t agree more. Another issue with the PVP modes is that the maps are shit. Repurposed single player areas with more boxes and barrels in the way doesn’t work. They’re clunky and too big/confusing. The game variants are annoying and not fun. The matchmaking system is TERRIBLE and so slow. You can’t quickly cycle different game types. You need to go to free roam first. You can’t buy special ammo in the matchmaking menus. You can’t change dead eye abilities or game settings in the matchmaking. I mean come the fuck on. I love RDO but the PVP is absolute shit. And fuck paint it black it should just be banned.

Exactly!! Loved Up in Smoke and Spoils of War, it's annoying as hell that the showdown series include all kinds of freakin' horse races and crap like that..

I wonder if they realise we all don't play showdown series just because it's the only option, some of us just play the game less when we get bored of free roam.
I mean sometimes I'll play regular showdown series since they added Spoils of War but not very often. Doesn't help that it crashes my game so much leaving me in infinite loading screens.

We had it once, it was my favorite mode. We just can’t have nice things online.
It was great but they only had one map for it and the spawns were god awful. I'm hoping they bring it back with a bunch of new maps for the summer update.
Of all the problems with spawns, I thought that TDM did it best. For the most part, you’d spawn on your side. If the other team pushed in, you’d start spawning on the other side. I much prefer that to the outer circle of death strategy on every other map.
I found it way too easy to spawn camp on that map. Which is why I figured they removed it.
They tossed it because a few of us figured out how to get 30-50 kills per round with usually between 0-3 deaths.
For real man I hate how far out it spawns you. Obviously your gonna have the best shootouts in town but instead I keep getting caught out in the hills and woods around each town
