Visiting Monterey Bay with some friends this next Tuesday. Need places to visit.

Me and some friends from work plan on spending the day over in Monterey Peninsula. We want to spend the whole day there, but we’re not to sure on what to do. We really don’t want to scramble and just end up walking around. Besides the aquarium and fisherman’s wharf, what are some fun things to do there? Maybe a good restaurant/coffee shop you’d recommend? Thanks for the advice!
