Still hate Murphy for this tbh
It's totally the optimal play in his position and I like the Coyotes way more than the Preds, but even I am kinda upset about it.
Why are you upset at a defenseman doing his job?
Since it's fun seeing goalies score.
Like I said, strategically speaking, it's the play he or anyone should do and is the optimal play.
But I just love seeing goalies score goals, it's an exciting and rare thing. I'm not actually shaking to my core over it.
Upset that it didn’t go in
Of course...
Not anymore?!?!
Pekka could have had TWO goals by now smh
I'm actually kind of disappointed that Pekka didn't get that one now I know it happened.
Good news today!!!
I swear Malkin did this to Fleury once when he was still on the Pens.
if Ehlers can get a hattrick off an empty netter denial...this shoulda counted too
I fully believe Pekka won't retire until he gets a goal.
Pekka Rinne to retire after this season??
He can rest finally.
Be interesting to see who can last longer of him and hank. He is only a half year younger than hank..
Hank will probably last longer as he’s never had to deal with many successful playoff runs in his career. Shots fired
Shots wildly miss target.
HENRIQUE ITS OVER.

Would the goal have counted if the puck reached past the other blue line then batted out of the air?

Yeah fuck him for doing his job
And thank fucking god he did.
A high stick on an empty net shot should be a penalty shot

Just helping defend the title of "Most Recent Goalie to Score a Goal" by then fellow teammate Smith. Ketchup is just that good of a teammate.
Ketchup? I'm confused.
Ketchup is Murphy's nickname. He got it from a segment where American Coyotes players tasted Canadian snacks. They were mostly hated by Murphy LOVED ketchup chips.
Ahh. Okay that makes sense. I am a big fan of his in Chicago, I wasn't aware of that nickname or any of the AZ Coyote segments.
