How frequently does Credit Karma Update?

How often are credit card balances reported? I just started using Credit Karma and (maybe) checking it too often. I’ve paid off a small credit card and store line of credit, but neither have updated on the app. Is it monthly? Also, how often do you check the app? Maybe it’s just because I want to see the score change on these paid off accounts, but I check it multiple times a day.
