Is there an up to date barrel attachments guide? Haven't been playing the game for a long time and trying to get back into it

Bro, if you shoot bursts or one taps, use muzzle break. If you full auto a lot, use compensator. Literally as easy as that.

There's more to it than that, ofc muzzle break for single fire and small bursts, but I remember that different weapons have different initial shot recoil, overall recoil and fire rates, you had the choice between compensator and flash hider, most of the time one of those two ultimately gave you a better outcome.
It's not just " If you full auto a lot, use compensator.".
