You can still buy season 2 gear up until the start of season 3 and you should get the remaining glory crests you need tomorrow.

In part 2 of the 7/24 update notes they actually confirmed (I know they said differently in the past) that you CAN purchase the frame until the beginning of season 3.

The thing is you can't get the reward of more of the currency needed as of the reset today.

the frame is bait, it's supposed that those will become normal arena points, i don't remember the proportion of conversion (5=1 i think?) but still better than non...

And furthermore the points you had left will be converted to conquest points so it's even better

The people that buy it are the one that can afford all those gears and the frame. Peeps like me who can't even enter challenger sure as hell ain't gonna afford that. Probably takes some skills.

Stayed in bottom tier masters (master 5) for the duration of season 2. Got all gear and frame. No need for challenger.

If you're at least in Masters (like me) then you can afford it. I bought all the gear, the slate and could buy that frame but won't since it's useless. Although, to be fair, my daily dispatch missions are always for conquest points, which helps save up.

480 conquest points worth isnt much in the grand scheme of things either. that portrait will stay until the account is deleted/game is gone more than likely. A collectible isnt such a bad thing to get, specially for those who want it.

Sure, if people want it that's up to them. My point is that's the lowest level of flex you can get. A true flex would be to get the highest frame, not that. Anyone can get that, therefore making its value as flex not worth it.

The points won't be that much, the conversion rate is 5:1, so you pretty much get 20% of them converted only.

This guy's getting downvoted but he's right. That thing is only cosmetic at the end of the day. As bad as the conversion rate is, its still being turned into something. You guys who think that flexing something so many people already have is cool are idiots lol
