Hello all. Coming from another mobile game, I’m wondering how important it is to be in a “top” guild regarding player progression. Does it hold you back in some way to be in more casual guilds? Only asking because in other mobile games your guild can kinda dictate your progression to a degree. Thanks for all your help.

The only benefit to being in a top guild is having enough players to open Soren once a day. At least as it relates to in game benefits. Outside game, many top guilds have a wealth of knowledge they can share about the game; strategy, etc.
Guild doesn't matter much at all. Only difference is being able to open Soren a bit more often in a top guild, which barely matters. As far as "high level advice" goes, "level Shemira, Brutus, and a wilder backline" is about as much as they're going to tell you... So just stick with whatever guild, they won't gain you much, if any, advantage.
A good, active guild will give you the opportunity to grab more guild coins, which can help you get the high level equipment you need. They'll also preform better in Guild Wars, where you can earn gold and scrolls.
