when armin committed toaster bath to stop the colossal titan, he should've just had eren run under bert and use his hardening to seal the hole between bert's ankles, causing him to trip and fall. 200iq and they get to save erwin with the serum now. i can't believe armin didn't think of this.

If Bert can kick a hole in the wall I don't see how Eren is gonna be able to get enough titan cement on his legs to pull this off.
Tbf Bert did have to raise his leg way tf up to kick the wall.

It's not a plothole since it can be answered with "Armin didn't think of that." Saying that this is a plot hole is like it's a pothole that Eren didn't one shot Annie in their first fight.
Both characters just wasn't capable of doing that.
They should have just considered saying please when they wanted Bertholdt to stop smh
And maybe it was all about the friends we made along the way
