Critique my build for a light gamer / software developer.

Build Help

Hello! I'm a first time builder who is looking for some input on my build. I am a software developer and a light gamer so I'm mostly focused on CPU, RAM and fast storage along with an entry level graphics card.

My games of choice or will be classic world of warcraft and CSGO and I want to run them at 1080p above 100 frames and at medium to high settings.

My budget is $1200 dollars and I'm from Denmark. Any input is appreciated, thank you.

Does it have to be Mini ITX? If not, you can use the money to build a quiet PC. Using German prices:

Yeah I want to build a mini-itx, also mindfactory no longer ships outside germany but do you know of other german sellers that do ?

I used Germany because Denmark isn't included in pcpartpicker, I didn't mean for you to buy from Germany. But if that's what you want to do, Amazon.de can deliver.

Not sure if you’re aware, but that PSU comes with short cables, and since you are building in a large-ish ITX case you might need extension cables.

Just get an ATX PSU imo unless you plan to downsize the case down the line.

Oh so atx PSUs would fit this case? I had actually thought of getting a smaller more custom case at a later time

Yes.

Why are you spending $125 on an r5 3600 with no oc headroom when you're workload could use the extra cores of an r7 3700x? Just drop the aio and get a 3700x.

Edit : didn't see you were in Denmark, so the prices might be off a bit, but the cost of a 3700x with the stock cooler should probably be about the same as a 3600 and an expensive aio, but the 3700x will perform better in your development workloads while getting the same performance in games.

The cost of a 3600 and aio do come out to be about the same as 3700x. I will get the 3700x instead, thanks for the suggestion
