Anyone 40+ days for a CPL?

It’s been 44 days since I applied for a cpl in Clark county and have not received it. I even emailed them last week and heard nothing. Calling them tomorrow to see what’s up. I’m a resident with a clean background I don’t see why it’s taking 44 days. Anyone else experiencing this?

Has it been 30 business days? 44 calendar days is right on the cusp of being 30 business days depending on weekends and holidays.

While the statute doesn't specify 30 business days, it doesn't say it's not either so some agencies have adopted that interpretation and have yet to be challenged.

The recent assault rifle thing made everything a shitshow. Yes, there are major delays to any kind of registration requiring state action.

Stopped by the other day to inquire about mine. The lady at the desk said they had been swamped lately and had been running a bit behind.

Was this from Clark county sheriff office recently?

Yes. Just checked our calendar when we went to when she got it (3 days ago). 9 business days.

I forget how long it took for each, but my wife and I both got ours earlier this year (before July 1st). Mine came in like, two or three weeks? Hers took about double that.
