I want to recommend to friend, but can't remember name
What I remember:
Pretty sure its a standalone movie, not series
Characters use suits of armor (Gundam-ish) to fight monsters that allow them to fire magic and expends shells. But it can also corrupt them, turning them to monsters.
MC is a mercenary that travels with his own different armor with a young girl.
Any help appreciated, spent all afternoon searching for name

I know this one but can't recall the name, I'll give some more details though;
It's 3 eps of 40 min (I think), an older anime from I want to say 2008 or so. It starts off with a woman from the government that's been assigned to dealing with the appearances of demons. Humans with those armor suits are far more likely to demonize, this is one of the main plot points for a big part of the show. The girl that follows the MC around is actually the product of a demon and human parents and has extra eyes like a spider, bright red. She is intending to kill the MC, thus the MC 'cannot' die by any others' hands. The MC is shown as a vigilante/mercenary despite having acces to one of these armors which are supposedly very rare and expensive. The armors are always deployed from the back of a somewhat bland gray truck.
