As a bass player in many bands, I fucking despise when people come up and ask me to "slapa da bass". It's either that or "play the Seinfeld theme

I like me some metallica but im also sick of that song. Because of the exact reason you brought up. I was a guitar teacher for a couple years and i made the mistake of showing a couple beginners that song. Mental health tiiiip, do not teach beginners that riff.
