Please read this before submitting a health or behavior question!

To help the community be better able and to quickly answer your questions, please include the following information when submitting a health and/or behavior concern:

• When did the issue first start?
• How many gerbils live together?
• Which gender are they?
• How old are they?
• Do they get free time outside of their habitat? (if yes, when was their last outing?)
• What type and dimensions is their habitat? (and how many inches/cm of bedding?)
• What enrichment is available to them in their habitat? (if they have a wheel, include the diameter)
• Are they hand tame? (i.e. do they happily hop on your hand?)
• How long have you had them?

Answering most of these questions is also helpful even if you are still in the planning stages of getting gerbils and have concerns.
