B450M Steel Legend working properly again!

Thanks to AGESA 1.0.0.3 ABB included in the 2.60 Bios, and the new version of the Polychrome Sync Software, all of this Board works again, with my Ryzen7 3700X.

While this should be a given, since it is a product I purchased, I still want to thank every ASRock staff member who might happen to lurk and read here.

Are these shipping from Amazon with the updated bios?

I purchased my B450M a month before the updates, from a german online reseller called Mindfactory.

The CPU, I got from a local brick n mortar store, even if Mindfactory had the chips after release. Because supporting ones local sellers is needed, too. Especially when they sell at a point around the 'Internet Price'.

What new polychrome version?

The ASRock 'APP Shop' program, used for deploying updates, has a newer version of the PolyChrome software.

Instead of the 2.0.4 that has been out since January 16th, they are at 2.0.25, from, if I remember right, July 31st, including a new firmware on top.

As in, program not starting at all, or lighting not working?

In the former case, probably uninstall, and try to manually scrub the remainder of the software from your system.

Then try to get the RGB Software from the App Shop system, it had, at time of making the original post, a newer version in it.

And how do i scrub the remainder of the software im not a expert in this stuff but i would really like to control my rgb in my pc

First, you run the normal Uninstaller. With the version on the website, I had the issue that it couldn't remove a certain .dll file.

I simply fired up Windows explorer after a reboot (since the Uninstaller had managed to remove the .exe file), sought the folder for the RGB Software, and removed it manually.

Ohh okay im gonna try that later today
