Oriole fan coming in peace

As a fan of a team who’s goal is to do the same thing you guys did while doing it with former Astro personnel, I have to say, you guys are a phenomenal team. No gaps in this Astro team and it’s a pleasure to all of baseball to watch a team. I can only hope our farm system and future becomes what the Astros farm system and major league team became. We trust Elias and Sig to do what they did in Houston. Thank you for them and good luck the rest of the way.

From, A faithful Oriole fan.

Your time will come Orioles bro

Yeah I have the patience but I’m worried about others in the fan base. Oriole fans aren’t exactly patient and well aware of the plan Elias and Sig have in place. Hopefully I’m wrong but I’m worried fans will shit on them without knowing the plan.

Trust us we know. Our 100 game losing seasons not a soul cares for the team. Winning changed the city, winning the World Series completely changed the city’s view of baseball

That’s the hope I have for us and I can see it. When we were good in 2013-2015, Camden Yards was not a place you wanted to play. If you look at our home record during that time, the Orioles defended the shit out of home. Winning at Camden was very hard for teams. During that time the atmosphere only made it better. I’ll never forget those teams.

We had a game that had a Nielsen rating of 0.0 a few years ago. Literally nobody watched that game on TV.

Trust the process. They’ve been with 2 championship MLB clubs, they know what they are doing.

I’ve trusted since Day 1 when Elias was hired and then when we brought along Sig. We had an excellent draft this year and the minor leagues has also seen tremendous success. Sig implemented Trackman and other analytical set ups that players have complimented. I’m excited for the future.

Trackman is his baby. Sounds like you’ve read Astroball. So you know those are some key guys to the success the Astros are having today.

Also to add, Chris Holt has done WONDERS for our minor league staff. I know a big thing about your guys minor leagues was strikeouts and Holt has worked his magic and has our guys doubling their strikeouts and or making throw a new pitch which has been effective. John Means our best pitcher in the MLB credited Holt for helping him with his change up during ST.

In the recent past we lead ERA at every level and wins.

I don’t think our minor leagues has done as well this year. We must be suffering for the losses for the coaching talent.

I have and I loved it. It’s on my list to read again when I have time. I’d say I am the biggest believer in Elias and Sig. Before then, our analytical department was dead last. We never used it much but now I’d say we are in the top half of implementing that all throughout the system. Super excited.

You're in good hands my man. The rebuilding part is painful but that will make it all the sweeter when your time comes. Have faith.

Imo, it’s fun watching rebuilding teams and looking back on those teams to see who was the tank commander and remember some of these guys who you’ll forget played for you in 6 years. So far, our farm system has strengthened thanks to a excellent draft from Elias and Co. I’m excited to see what we do in the offseason and how many guys will be gone and who’s gonna come up from the farm. Elias said he isn’t gonna rush players and I love to hear that.

I just noticed the O's pitcher's reaction to Alvarez's grand slam. Priceless.

Tayler Scott. Most Oriole fans don’t even know who he is. It’s pretty funny because every player tonight you guys saw pitch will probably be optioned out tonight.

wouldn't be the first time

324 losses in 3 years. I watched a lot of MLB Network instead of the Astros. Your time will come.

Invest your time in the farm teams and watch how those guys are progressing. It can be fun, really!

I really like you guys, and I'm definitely keeping my eye on you. I root for you (when you're not playing my Astros of course :P ) so I'm looking forward to seeing you develop. You're in good hands.

Thanks boss. I love watching you guys especially my dude Wade Miley. Keep up the good shit.

Hang in there, bud. You guys will get there, it took us 56 years lol

We were where you are just a few years ago. Baseball has its ebbs and flows.

See if you can get Sports Illustrated to write an article predicting your World Series win in three years and boom. There you go.

Good luck to y’all my dude, trust the process. It was painful going through those 100 loss seasons but it was all worth it in the end. Cal Ripken Jr was one of my childhood favorites so I’ve always rooted for y’all when we don’t play you.

The Astros have quite possibly the best Front Office Executive in sports not named Jerry West.

Jeff Luhnow is the goat.

All things are cyclical. One day the Orioles will be good. When I was a kid, the Astros were bad. Then they got decent in the 90s and made a WS in the 2000s. Then the dark years of which we do not speak. It all comes together eventually. Just keep the faith in your team and one day it will be repaid.

I've always been an admirer of the O's, even when they went up against teams I loved, like the '79 Pirates.

At least you guys get to watch games in what's arguably the best venue in all of sports. The two times I was fortunate enough to catch games at Camden were just incredible.

You guys will be in contention again, perhaps sooner than you expect. Best of luck!
