Why so much hate for brats?

So a topic I'm genuinely interested in and I thought I would reach out to the community.

First, many apologies if I sound judgmental. I'm not and am really seeking opinions so I can better understand the community. In my opinion we all like what we like and there are very few ways to participate in the true tenants of BDSM wrong.

I see on many boards here that a ton of people hate bratty subs and I don't get that. I'm not saying you're wrong I just want to understand the thinking.

My sub is mostly submissive with a little bit of brat and just a dash of little thrown in and I love that...

But...

I find that I want her to be more bratty as it gives me an actual reason to punish her. The thought of that turns me on way more than funishments do. I even find myself putting her in positions that encourage her to be more bratty and am disappointed when she doesn't brat.

I find when she instantly submits that it's satisfying but that it's not nearly as satisfying or erotic as if she initially reuses and I get to "make" her do it (of course everything I would do would have to be completely consentual).

That feels, to me, much more dominant.

So for those of you that hate brattiness or just straight out love a purely submissive sub, what is it about that that just revs your motor? What about brattiness just turns you off?
