I mean this is almost necessary considering we're talking about EA here, EA are the kind of ppl who will never learn and keep doing the some shit they've been doing every year And Sadly just like what happened to Bioware it looks like Respwan is heading to that direction, of course EA pulling the rope for this as always 200$ for an event,GOD

Just like anything, some things are worth the price of admission and some aren't. Each person needs to make that determination. Some events on here will be targeted towards the F2P person and some will be geared to the paying player. I thought that the event at the end of season 1 was a very solid free event. This paid event is a bit expensive for my taste, but it doesn't insult me that it exists....It's just not my cup of tea. I'm ok with it. I'm hoping they will restructure their pricing for future events, but if they don't, I don't have to pay. They are cosmetics. They don't change the way the game is played or give any advantage. So if they think this pricing is where it needs to be to make the money necessary to give me more free content, then so be it. I just won't be paying for it myself. If they don't make enough money? Well then they will adjust the pricing for the next one and make it more affordable.

It's a small sample size of the more hardcore player base. It's not a great representation of the community as a whole. A vast majority of the players of this game don't even know that this subreddit exists, and don't follow everything that gets published about the game. Even with access to all of this information at our fingertips, people don't seek it. It's short sighted to think a small group could actually represent the whole....I mean....you can just look at the last presidential election as proof that polls and smaller representative groups don't match the collective whole.....

Reddit is hardly hardcore, there are plenty of shitters on reddit. It's also hardly obscure, reddit is the 4th most popular website.
That's what a sample size is, all polls have bias because you cant possibly random sample most things. When you poll at a mall for political opinions you're biased to whatever state you're in and when you poll social media sites you're biased to the type of people that use that site. That doesnt make the data from that sample size irrelevant or inherently untrustworthy.

I didn't say it makes it irrelevant. I said it isn't an accurate temperature of the entire player base, which is accurate. It's trustworthy, but only reflects a small group of people that have taken the lengths to join this sub. Which isn't false, and doesn't discredit, but simply brings perspective. Perspective is the most actively ignored concept in our digital age....we don't need it because my view from here is perfect!

I play almost every night with one of my friends from college that I haven't seen since I moved away two years ago. He isn't even on Reddit and has no idea any of this drama is going down, and I think he's like the majority of the player base.
Fact is, people like me have a great time playing a free, socially interactive game, and I don't spend any money on it. It's a really fun game and I don't think about cosmetics at all while I play, I just join a squad with my friend and we play and catch up. Sometimes we win and sometimes we suck, but if you don't pay attention to all the nonsense going on here, you'll have a much better time.

He is not but people that complained that they would have bought the skin they wanted and than when they got that option complained that its too expensive (when it's priced as any other skin in the game) are the I WANT FREE SHIT IN THISH FREE GAME AND RESPAWN IS HITLER FOR NOT GIVING ME FREE SHIT type of people and they suck and ruin this subredit
