Hunters, get your 200 void grenade kills during void empowerment today in the EDZ.

I was dreading the 200 void grenade kills step on my hunter, until I realized that the void empowerment dramatically reduces all cooldowns when crouched. The Fallen vs. Cabal enemy movement event next to Devrim's location was where I farmed my kills: Orpheus Rig tethers + voidwall grenades meant I was done in one event. Tether, throw down the grenade, dodge to go invisible and collect all the void orbs that spawn, crouch to regen grenade and dodge, repeat.

The Shuro Chi encounter in The Last Wish is easily the fastest way to farm the kills. You can get 60-70 kills in under 2 minutes, die, respawn at checkpoint, and repeat.

No waiting for certain map events and no one stealing your kills.

Literally anywhere works. I had mine done before I had my 10 gambit matches complete. Multitask!

Edit: my point is those should be the last thing you target as they happen organically in every other required activity. It’s a waste of time to knock them out early.

Yep! I'm mediocre at Gambit, so I recommended the EDZ since hunters need to do 25 EDZ patrols. Plus, the glimmer rig event crops up very frequently there, and you get a lot of mobs spawning in a small space during it, which helps with void grenade or arc weapon (riskrunner) kills.

If you use void when doing the 25 patrols on edz you’ll get most or all the grenade kills

True! I was dreading the step because nightstalker void grenades are all about area denial. I was pleasantly surprised at this synergy I discovered, thought I'd share for others in my situation. And yes, I did get at least one patrol done during that event.

Shuro chi has already been mentioned, I used curated ghalrans right hand and shadowshot for the 2x length grenafes in whisper had mine done in about 5-6 mins in the thrall room, took about 6 kills with ghalran's right hand to recharge my nade. then threw another nade and repeated.
