PSA: It's possible to adjust colors in SteamVR. (For example, fix the Index' blue tint)

It seems many people don't know this, but SteamVR Beta 1.6.7 (and now stable 1.6.10) introduced new options into SteamVR for adjusting colors of the headset image, and by default slightly reduces the amount of blue if you're using the Index.

It's possible to manually adjust the colors with RGB gain controls. Here's an example of how you can do it with the blue channel:

-Find your SteamVR config file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\steamvr.vrsettings).

-Add the following line under the "steamvr" section:

"hmdDisplayColorGainB" : 0.9,

it should look like this

Note that 0.9 is just an example. You can change it to whatever you want.

For the red and green channels, the settings are called (you guessed it) hmdDisplayColorGainR and hmdDisplayColorGainG. You can also go above 1.0, to for example boost the amount of blue back to the pre-update levels.
