[TOMT][YouTube Video] Video about a type of parodox or idea that demonstrates that Person A’s thoughts and actions influence the the thoughts and actions of Person B, which cycles back into influencing the thoughts and actions of Person A.

Solved!

Ok the title is kinda confusing but I’ll explain. The video was narrated by a woman who is explaining a parodox. The cycle of the parodox is:

thoughts of person A => actions of person A => thoughts of person B => actions of person B => thoughts of person A => ...

I remember the example she used was a basketball coach who plays favorites on the first day of practice without actually knowing any of the players. The cycle could go:

Coach thinks one of the players has potential and has a positive view on him because of his appearance => Coach focuses all of his attention on the player during practice => player is more motivated to work harder in practice because he is getting so much attention from the coach => player does better in games because of hard work in practice => coach’s presupposition about the player was correct

On the flip side, the cycle could also go:

Coach thinks one of the players has no potential and has a negative view on him because of his appearance => coach doesn’t put much focus on this player during practice => player is less motivated to work harder during practice because he isn’t getting as much attention from the coach => player does worse in games because he didn’t work as hard in practice => coach’s presupposition about the player was correct

So yea if any one knows the name of the video or even the name of the parodox/idea I’m describing, it would be greatly appreciated
