Could anyone point me in the direction of highrise HVAC systems for dummies?

[MECHANICAL]

I've recently started a role as a project engineer working on commercial design build HVAC systems, usually for high rises. I have a grasp of a lot of the equipment and their roles but am having a tough time grasping how everything is working together and by using which water loops. Does anyone have material they used to get a hold on this or explain it? For reference this is a system involving cooling towers, air handling units, heat pumps, boilers, vav units, exhaust fans etc
